ExpoAgua 2021, the leading water and sustainability trade fair, is being held in October and November in Peru and it will be presenting the latest technological innovations and solutions for integrated water management. This year, the event is being organized both virtually and face to face. The on-site part of the fair is being held at the Jockey Exhibition Center in Lima (Peru) from October 27 to 29, while the virtual part will be taking place from October 27 to November 26.
Idrica is once again sponsoring the event, which will be bringing together leading companies, international experts, decision-makers and government agencies, along with a broad segment of end users from water, agriculture, mining and industry.
In its seventh year, the fair draws attention to sustainability, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Therefore, it will be highlighting issues such as the circular economy, solid waste management, air quality, climate change and gender equity.
It will also include a special conference for government agencies to improve productivity, build strategic alliances and enhance water and sanitation management in the different Peruvian localities, framed within the 17 SDGs.
The organizing committee includes the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation, the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation, the Ministry of Environment, as well as prominent agencies such as CCA, Sedapal, ANA, ANEPSSA Peru, OTASS and SUNASS. For the second year running, the United States will be the country guest of honor and, for the first time, Cuzco will be the city guest of honor.
