Idrica to participate in the 11th SWAN Annual Conference 2021

The next SWAN Annual Conference 2021 is set to take place virtually from May 24 – 28. The main theme this year is “Redefining Smart Water.” The 11th conference is organized by the Smart Water Networks Forum (SWAN), the leading global hub for the smart water industry, whose aim is to accelerate the awareness and adoption of smart, data-driven solutions in water and wastewater networks worldwide.

Idrica, the leading international water technology company, is a gold sponsor of the conference, which will feature 50 global utility speakers and diverse industry experts. It will be bringing together international utilities, regulators, proven solution providers, researchers, consultants, investors, academia, and young professionals to accelerate advances in the smart water sector.

The utility-driven agenda is already available via the mobile app, which provides networking opportunities such as a Virtual Networking Lounge, 1:1 meetings, inbuilt interactive sessions and contests.

This is the second consecutive year in which the SWAN Annual Conference 2021 is being held virtually, as a consequence of the global health crisis, and the third time Idrica is sponsoring the event. The conference is part of the first Smart Water Week and will include the 4th SWAN Digital Twin Workshop.

Each day will have a different theme, such as Building the Foundation, Maximizing Your Data, Emerging Markets, Wastewater Value Creation, and Innovation & Collaboration.

Pablo Calabuig, CEO of GoAigua US, will be taking part in one of the Digital Twin Workshop debates with Fazle Rabbi, Managing Engineer at the City of Houston. After that, on May 27, he is scheduled to host the session “Demystifying Digital Twins for Water Distribution and Collection Systems.

On May 26, Carlos Tejedor, Smart Metering and Instrumentation Specialist at Idrica, and Pepe Chambó, Sales Specialist at Idrica, will be co-hosting a practical session on how to maximize the ROI of smart meter deployment in water utilities based on a sustainable strategy.

We are looking forward to this virtual water event. Drop by our virtual booth or contact us via the mobile app for an in-depth view of our GoAigua technology and services.
