Aganova’s Sphere

Aganova’s system is based on the introduction of a small sphere in large diameter pipes. The sphere runs through the center of the pipe to detect leaks, air pockets and anomalies by processing the sound using a complex mathematical algorithm. Thanks to this innovation, the system locates leaks and problems in water and sanitation systems accurately, quickly, effectively and cost-efficiently. It can check more than 35 kilometers in a single insertion and locates leaks starting from 0.005 liters per second, with a minimum margin of error.

The investment allows Idrica to add a new service and bring additional value to its customers, who are present in four continents. With this investment Aganova will incorporate the smart algorithms developed by Idrica and benefit from the company’s technology and knowledge, dedicated to process improvement.

According to Agustín Ramírez, founder and CEO of Aganova, “This commitment not only offers us greater traction in our industrial component, but will also provide us with its strategic vision, technological experience and digital transformation of the sector to keep providing added value to our customers”.
