On September 22, the technology center Ainia will be hosting the 5th International Water Management Conference in Valencia, Spain, focused on the agri-food industry. Ainia has over 30 years of experience in R&D and innovation and operates globally, establishing partnerships with public and private organizations as a strategic innovation ally.
Technology is key to tackling the current challenge of agri-food sustainability and to optimizing water use efficiency, in line with agreements such as the European Green Deal, the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Spanish Strategic Projects for Economic Recovery and Transformation (PERTE), both in the agri-food sector and in the digital transformation of the water cycle.
Hence, during this conference, experts from a number of water-related fields will be analyzing the main challenges ahead of the agri-food industry in its aim to use water more efficiently and more sustainably. Four themed round tables have been scheduled on a range of topics such as reuse, purification, circularity and the digital transformation of water. In addition, success stories and opportunities for innovation in the sector will also be presented.
Idrica is one of this hybrid event’s sponsors, which will be attended by national and international experts from different water treatment-related fields. Representatives from public agencies, research centers and private companies will be discussing the main trends in research and technological innovation in the water sector. Last year’s conference was attended by 132 participants.
As a leading multinational in the digital transformation of water, Idrica will be giving a presentation on its proposed solutions and services in the session focusing on this topic.
In addition to the 12 sessions the conference is divided into, a networking forum has also been set up to encourage the exchange of opinions and experiences, as well as to learn about the latest developments from those involved in the event. Participants will have the opportunity to talk to several Idrica experts, both in person at the booth and virtually through the event’s application.
