GoAigua to participate in the SWAN Annual Conference 2022

The 12th SWAN Annual Conference is set to take place on May 24-26, 2022, in Washington DC. The event’s main theme this year is “Connecting Innovation to Impact” and it will be focusing on the economic, social and environmental impact of water innovation and technology. It is organized by the Smart Water Networks Forum (SWAN), a hub that promotes the use of data-driven technologies in the smart water sector to make it more intelligent, efficient and sustainable.

The hybrid format of the 2022 conference will enable online attendees to live stream selected sessions or view them on-demand and will be featuring more than 40 speakers. The event is the meeting point for the main players in the sector, including senior utility managers, technology providers, researchers, consultants, regulators and academics.

GoAigua will be sponsoring the 5th Digital Twin Workshop, set to take place on May 24. This year, the workshop includes several sessions in which international experts will be showcasing actual implementations of this technology to illustrate its continuous evolution. The opening and closing addresses will be given by Gigi Karmous-Edwards, Founder & Chair of the SWAN Digital Twin Work Group.

Pablo Calabuig, CEO of GoAigua US, and Fazle Rabbi, Managing Engineer at the City of Houston, will be leading one of the panel discussions, entitled “Digital Twins for Sewer Networks: Outcomes & Applications”.
