GoAigua participates in YWP Spain Congress 2019

The IWA YWP Spain Congress will be held in Madrid (Spain) from 12-15 November 2019. Its aim is to exchange experiences, research and knowledge among young professionals in the water sector. The event is organised by the YWP Spanish Chapter, AEAS Spanish Water Association, IWA and the Faculty of Industrial Engineers of the Polytechnic University of Madrid.

The programme includes different technical visits, workshops and presentations, focused on four topics: i) the water cycle, ii) new emerging technologies, iii) water 4.0 and iv) water economics and governance.

The members of YWP Spain who are part of GoAigua will be present during the event, which is a unique opportunity to generate networking and synergies between young water professionals.

About YWP Spain

The Young Water Professionals (YWP) network is an initiative of the International Water Association (IWA) that aims to develop the new generation of water leaders. It is organized into country chapters, such as United Kingdom, United States, Canada, South Africa, Austria or Mexico among others.

Young Water Professionals Spain is the Spanish chapter of IWA, established in 2015 with the support of the AEAS Water Association, which represents IWA in the country. Its objective is to contribute to the sector in Spain by means of the professional development, recognition and visibility of young water professionals.
