This project involves the deployment of the GoAigua Billing and GoAigua Customer Portal solutions at the Consorcio de Aguas de Bilbao Bizkaia (CABB) utility to support a number of commercial processes, including billing, customer service, work order management, meter management and communication with public authorities. The contract will also integrate CABB’s new e-Office, make adaptations to the utility’s previous billing and customer service management system and provide technical assistance.

The project’s main objective is the overhaul of CABB’s information and commercial management systems. This, in turn, will enhance the utility’s online functionalities, provide integration with the new e-Office, and help it to become more flexible in upgrading its business processes.
The initiative will also bring process traceability, task automation and integration with other related systems (such as GIS, accounting and CMMS) through web services.
This project will provide the client with access to its system from any device with an Internet connection, making it more user-friendly. In addition, it will facilitate the digital transformation of business processes, and bring greater security for the future. Moreover, customers will be able to access their usage and billing data through the e-Office, promoting responsible consumption of water resources.
CABB is the utility responsible for managing the drinking water supply and wastewater treatment network for approximately one million inhabitants in Bizkaia. Its remit covers 81 municipalities in addition to the Bizkaia Provincial Council and the Basque Government. It also has partnership agreements with other local organizations.
