Hot Springs

The City of Hot Springs has combined the power of multiple digital solutions to improve operational efficiency, increase network performance and reduce water loss. The utility has 14 DMAs and 923 miles of water main, and manages 43,000 AMI meters, 11 elevated / ground storage tanks and two water treatment facilities.

The project is a result of the collaboration between Xylem and Idrica teams. It involves the deployment of Xylem Vue powered by GoAigua’s Leak Detection application, Xylem’s digital solutions (Sensus Analytics, Revenue Locator, and Water Loss Management), the Sensus Flexnet communication network, and Sensus meters.

By utilizing the combined power of these solutions, Hot Springs is able to securely monitor water data being transmitted from 14 DMAs via the Sensus FlexNet communication network. Initial results show advanced pressure regulation and have shown a reduction in non-revenue water and increased targeted leak detection.
