The integration of all data sources at the US water utility in Chino, CA, was achieved in this project thanks to the deployment of the GoAigua platform. In just two months, GoAigua integrated real-time data from two SCADA systems, Geographic Information Systems and smart meters, among other assets, into a secure software and analytics platform, helping to transform water management in the city.

This partnership delivered short-term improvements and underpinned the success of the overall digital transformation process in Chino. It was achieved through the implementation of a single data hub that merged existing data sources and systems, and by creating a Single Source of Truth (SSOT) to unlock advanced analytics and insights.

It also succeeded in transforming a large volume of data into useful information for decision-making and led to greater efficiency and effectiveness of the consultants’ work, based on new resources and information.

Finally, the project streamlined maintenance activities thanks to advanced know-how, and deployed an early warning system for the detection of leaks, non-revenue water and fraud.
