Loss control and integration of drinking water management for Triple A

The objective of the project is to make the system more efficient from a hydraulic viewpoint and reduce the client’s non-revenue water, given that current losses are around 50%. The client is Triple A, the water, wastewater and sanitation utility for the city of Barranquilla and 14 surrounding municipalities.

The Xylem Vue powered by GoAigua platform is being deployed for this project. The specific applications chosen are Unified Network Management, Leak Detection, Meter Data Analytics, Meter Asset Management and the Service Operations Center. In addition, there will be an initial consultancy phase and a 24-month knowledge transfer period for the project.

Thanks to the implementation of these solutions, the client will benefit from tools that will bring greater energy and hydraulic efficiency, in addition to optimizing human and technological resources, and improving Triple A´s corporate image both with end consumers, and with the national and international control bodies that consider Triple A to be an operational and technical benchmark.
