Idrica México (GoAigua Mex S.A.) has been recognized for the second consecutive year with the 2025 Socially Responsible Company (ESR) Distinction, awarded by the Mexican Center for Philanthropy (CEMEFI). This distinction highlights the company’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, business ethics, and social well-being.
The award ceremony took place on October 14 during the 2025 Forum for Socially Responsible SMEs, where Francisco Eduardo Hernández, Business Development LATAM at Idrica, and Jessica Ramírez, Administrative Assistant at Idrica, accepted the recognition on behalf of Idrica México. “Receiving this distinction for the second year in a row demonstrates that social responsibility and sustainability are not just goals, but part of our corporate culture. We will continue working to generate a positive impact on our communities and the environment,” said Francisco Eduardo Hernández.
This recognition was made possible thanks to the invitation from Servicios de Agua y Drenaje de Monterrey (SADM), which integrates Idrica into its Voluntary Corporate Social Responsibility Model, aligned with CEMEFI’s standards. The evaluation includes indicators across four key areas: environment, social responsibility, governance, and global context—all aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Begoña González, Head of Quality and Information Security at Idrica, emphasized: “This achievement is the result of teamwork and collaboration with SADM. Being recognized once again confirms that our social responsibility initiatives create real value for society and the environment.”
Obtaining the 2025 ESR Distinction underscores Idrica México’s commitment to operational efficiency, sustainability, and the well-being of its employees, clients, and communities—consolidating its position as a benchmark in social responsibility within the water sector.
