Idrica to participate at the World Water Forum in Senegal with its partner Quantum Solutions

The international water and sanitation community will be gathering from March 21-26 in Dakar, Senegal, for the World Water Forum. This is the world’s largest water industry event, organized by the World Water Council. It has been held every three years since 1997 in partnership with a host country and this year, for the first time, it is scheduled to take place in sub-Saharan Africa. This event brings together participants from institutional, political, academic, civil and private-sector fields, and provides a unique platform for the international water community and key decision-makers to work together and make long-term progress on global water challenges.

Idrica and its local partner, Quantum Solutions, will be playing an active role in the 9th World Water Forum with a booth, under the umbrella of the ICEX Spain Pavilion, which aims to bring together companies, institutions and experts from the industry. Moreover, Idrica’s Business Development Director, Chema Nebot, will be speaking at the round table on March 23, entitled “The role of local information systems in water management and planning”. The session has been organized by United Cities and Local Governments of Africa (UCLG Africa) in conjunction with other entities, such as the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the World Water Council and the World Bank.
