The IWA Digital Water Summit, one of the benchmark events in the digital transformation of the water sector, is scheduled to take place from November 14 to 16 in Bilbao, Spain. The meeting, in which Idrica has previously participated, will be sponsored by Xylem Vue powered by GoAigua. This technological platform has been developed as a result of the partnership between Idrica and Xylem Inc., and it will be actively showcased at the event with presentations, live demos, and a booth.
This three-day meeting will be co-organized by the International Water Association (IWA), a global network of water professionals, Consorcio de Aguas Bilbao Bizkaia (CABB), the region’s leading utility, and the Spanish Water and Wastewater Association (AEAS).
As part of a programme focused on the digital transformation of water, Jorge Helmbrecht, Idrica’s Business Development Director, will be giving a presentation on digital sustainability. He will be discussing the key role that this concept plays in the digital transformation of this resource, especially to tackle the challenges of the sector.
At a different session, Berry Drijsen, Senior Director, Vertical Marketing Clean Water Utilities at Xylem Europe, will be showcasing how operators have benefited from using advanced digital platforms to improve their network management at various stages of the digital journey.
In addition, participants who would like to see the Xylem Vue powered by GoAigua platform in action will have the opportunity to do so during a live demonstration given by Joan Carles Guardiola, a Customer Solutions Architect at Idrica.
